Prince Nawaf bin Faisal, the Vice President of the Youth Welfare and the Head of the Kingdom's Mission at Athens' summer Olympics-2004, opened here Thursday evening the Saudi Cultural Media Exhibition. The Exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information in cooperation with the Presidency of Youth Welfare and the Saudi Olympics Committee. On arrival at the venue of the Exhibition, Prince Nawaf bin Faisal was greeted by Athens' Mayor Civenax Suterce and Saudi Ambassador to Greece Dr. Abdullah Saad Al-Madi. Prince Nawaf bin Faisal made a tour of the Exhibition site and got acquainted with its displays, publications and brochures that projected Saudi Arabia's accomplishments in spheres of sports, economy, history and its civilization. In a press statement, the Prince expressed admiration of what he had seen at the exhibition and said it would provide a clear outlook on Saudi Arabia's distinguished civilization and its progress in various fields. "Moreover, the exhibition also shows the expansions undertaken at the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madinah under the reign of King Fahd bin Abdul-aziz. The exhibition also reflects the Kingdom's true message of Islam and peace."
