Dr. Al Rabeeah Launches Distribution of 6,500 Tons of Dates from the Kingdom to a Number of States

Advisor to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah launched here today corporeal assistance worth of dates provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for several states in the world in 2019 in presence of the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, who is also Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, representatives of the foreign, finance and environment, water and agriculture ministries.
Dr. Al Rabeeah thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, for their continuous support for KSrelief.
This came during an inauguration speech delivered by Dr. Al Rabeeah.
He affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is keen to share the global states with its agricultural products, adding that 6,500 tons of dates are allocated for 43 countries, out of which 4,000 tons will be distributed through the World Food Programme (WFP) for 14 countries while 2,500 tons go to 29 countries.
The KSrelief Supervisor General affirmed the Kingdom's keenness on its humanitarian and pioneering role in the world and its commitment to humanitarian principles regardless of color, sex, religion or race, as the Kingdom's most interest is to lift the suffering of people in various countries of the world.
"The Kingdom has provided more than 86 billion USD worth of diversified assistance since 1996 until now to 80 countries in the world in addition to 996 projects provided by KSrelief since its establishment in 2015 for 44 countries in partnership with 141 UN, international and regional organizations," Al Rabeeah said, highlighting that the Kingdom has provided 11.88 billion USD to all Yemeni governorates without exception.
In conclusion, Dr. Al Rabeeah thanked the representatives of the foreign, finance and environment, water and agriculture ministries for their great efforts.
For his part, the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia delivered a speech in which he stressed that the Kingdom provides humanitarian and relief assistance to all countries in the world.
