Advisor to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah has said that the contribution of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the State of Kuwait to Yemen in 2019 amounted to $ 1 billion and 250 million, the largest donation in the history of the United Nations. This came at a press conference held yesterday on the occasion of allocating a financial support to Yemen within the grant "Imdaad' in the presence of a large gathering of officials of United Nations organization offices and representatives of various media personnel. Dr. Al Rabeeah stressed the keenness of KSA and UAE to ensure access of the humanitarian aid to its beneficiaries in Yemen despite the interference of Houthi militias, adding that we are working on implementing our relief and humanitarian programs with an important partner, the United Nations.
