The Ministry of Finance will participate in the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Forum 2019, at the headquarters of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Geneva, Switzerland, on April 8- 12 2019, under the theme "Information and Communication Technologies for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals''. The Ministry of Finance is scheduled to participate in a workshop titled "Saudi Success Stories in the Provision of Financial and Digital Business Services" on April 11, 2019, to highlight its efforts and initiatives in supporting the digital transformation plan through the automation of the government systems as one of the Kingdom's vision 2030 programs. The Ministry will also introduce the electronic platform "Etimad" the first of its kind in providing electronic solutions for government financial transactions, provided by the Ministry of Finance to various government and private agencies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to enable them to implement their development projects.
