Speaker of Bahrain's Council of Representatives Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal has affirmed the depth of the deep-rooted Bahraini-Saudi relations, noting that they are based on a long history of mutual amicability, common destiny and joint strategic goals. The speaker stressed that the brotherly Bahraini-Saudi relations are constantly progressing thanks to the unwavering support of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Zainal lauded the successful visit of King Salman to Bahrain today, and his fruitful meeting and talks with King Hamad. The speaker valued highly the effective role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under King Salman's leadership, to safeguard the region's security, champion Arab and Islamic causes and serve pilgrims through providing them with all needed facilities, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
