A moderate earthquake struck southwestern China on Tuesday, killing at least four people and injuring more than 200, an official at the state seismological bureau said. The quake, measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale, hit the county of Ludian in Yunnan province in the early evening. State media and the official said the extent of the damage was unclear.
