The Joint Forces Command of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen: "Targeting and Destruction of (Two Caves) In Sana'a Used by the Iran-Backed Terrorist Houthi Militia to Store Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)"
The Official Spokesman of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, Colonel Turki Al-Malki, stated: "The Joint Forces Command of the Coalition has conducted a military operation tonight to destroy two legitimate military targets; consisting of two caves used by the Houthi militia to store UAVs, and use them in terrorist operations". He clarified: "This targeting operation is an extension to the previous military operations on (January 19th, 31st and February 9th 2019), that were conducted by the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition to target and destroy an Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia's integrated network for UAV capabilities and its logistical facilities, in addition to locations of foreign experts." Colonel Al-Malki affirmed the commitment of the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition to preventing use and access of the Houthi militia, and other terrorist organization, to such unique capabilities, and taking all necessary measures to protect civilians and vital areas from the threat of UAV terrorist attacks in accordance with the Customary International Humanitarian Law. Colonel Al-Malki concluded by reaffirming that the targeting operation was in accordance with the Customary International Humanitarian Law, and that the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition has taken all precautionary measures and necessary action to protect civilians and avoid collateral damage among them.
