Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has managed to distribute food, drug and medicine among the needy in Yemen, it was reported here today. Managers and relief officers yesterday distributed 500 food baskets weighing 37tons among cancer and kidney failure patients in the city of Al-Mukalla in collaboration with the Hadramout-based Ministry of Health and Population office; 150 food baskets weighing 9.629 tons over the displaced in Hajour directorate in Marib province benefiting 780 people; 26 tents, 156 blankets and 62 rugs benefiting 156 people in Zaheq area in Hadibi directorate in the island of Socotra; and 650 food baskets weighing 48.100 tons benefiting 3900 people in Al-Mukalla in Hadramout province. The assistance comes as part of the humanitarian support submitted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's KSrelief to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people during the current humanitarian crisis.
