The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz has issued his directive to translate pictorial Atlas of Makkah and holy places into English and to support its printing by King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives at his own expenses . The Foundation's Secretary General Dr. Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Sammari said that this generous support emanates from the King's keenness on the service of the Two Holy Mosques and holy places, noting that the King previously ordered to support the printing of Atlas in Arabic at his own expenses. Atlas issuance was followed up by Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Region and Chairman of the Foundation's Board of Directors and was continually supported by Prince Abdulaziz bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Cabinet Member and Chief of the Court of Cabinet's Presidency.
