The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud sent a cable of condolences to the Governor-general of New Zealand , on the victims of the two terrorist attacks, targeting two different mosques, in the city of Christchurch, resulting in tens of dead and injured. In his cable, the Monarch said: We have learned of terrorist attacks that targeted two mosques, in Christchurch city, resulting in deaths and injuries. As we denounce, in strong wordings, such a heinous criminal act, we express to Your Excellency, the families of the victims and the friendly people of New Zealand. In the name of the people as well as the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Monarch added, and in my own name of heartfelt condolences and sincere consolation, reasserting supporting your friendly country against such a terrorist act, denounced by all religions, norms and international charters, praying to the Al-Mighty Allah to bestows mercy upon the dead and to provide the injured with speedy recovery.
