Iraqi President Barham Salih met at Al-Salam residential palace in Baghdad today with Dr. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Gasabi, Minister of Commerce and Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the accompanying delegation, currently on an official visit to Iraq. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and aspects of developing them to best serve the interests of the two countries. In a press release on the meeting, President Salih praised the Kingdom's keenness on its openness on Iraq and its sincere endeavor to enhance the fraternal ties between the two peoples, confirming his country's keenness on enhancing aspects of economic and commercial cooperation with the Kingdom to the benefit of the two friendly peoples. For his part, Dr. Al-Gasabi expressed the Kingdom's desire to expand aspects of economic cooperation and facilitate trade exchanges through activating the border in-outlet process and enhance partnership between the two countries.
