"Al-Balsam International Organization" will leave tomorrow (Friday 8 March) to DareSalaam, the capital of the United Republic of Tanzania, in response to the Tanzanian government's second request, in coordination with the Tanzanian Ambassador in Riyadh Hamid Eid Maghazi and the Ministry of Health of Tanzania. The medical team that will be dispatched includes a group of pediatric consultants and other consultants from Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia and the United States in three different specialties. The team of consultants will review the cases processed by the local medical team at Muhimbili General Hospital, noting that this treatment campaign will last for seven days. Dr. Zakaria Habib, Consultant Pediatric Surgeon at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, explained that the campaign aims at organizing a training course in respiratory care for more than 50 Tanzanian health practitioners, conducting complex pediatric surgeries by Binoculars with local medical staff training, as well as conducting complex Urology operations for children with local medical staff training. It is worth mentioning that a team specializing in cardiothoracic surgery of "Al-Balsam International Organization", headed by Dr. Emad Bukhari, a senior consultant in cardiothoracic surgery conducted 12 open heart surgery and 57 interventional therapeutic catheters.
