His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers, Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Royal Commission for the Holy City of Makkah and Holy Places, chaired the second meeting of the Board of Directors of the Royal Commission for the Holy City of Makkah and Holy Places at Safa Palace in Makkah on Monday evening. The commission is responsible for achieving the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques aiming at improving all works and services and establishing a sustainable system that includes in its plans the human element, infrastructure and social fabric in general and the Grand Mosque and the holy places at its core. The Board of Directors of the Royal Commission for the Holy City of Makkah and the Holy Places discussed several topics and projects related to the commission, the first of which is the third Saudi expansion project of the Holy Mosque in Makkah, where the levels of achievement and the project's elements were reviewed and the coordination efforts among the competent authorities to provide the best services to pilgrims were discussed. For his part, Executive Chairman of the Royal Commission for the Holy City of Makkah and the holy places Eng. Abdulrahman bin Farouk Addas thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, pointing out that the commission will work on a number of issues pertaining to the administration of the Holy Mosque, transport, roads and other projects. This was followed by a visit to the Grand Mosque to see the status of the project.
