The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah palace in Riyadh on Tuesday's afternoon. At the outset of the session, the King extended his thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Chairman of Anti-Corruption Committee for his efforts and keenness as well as the Committee's staff and working teams in completing the tasks assigned to it and achieved the desired objective in accordance with the royal order on its formation. The King assured that the Kingdom will continue its approach to preserve integrity, combat corruption, and eradicate it and that law enforcement and auditing bodies should strengthen their roles so that they can be able to efficiently practice their competences in protecting and preserving public funds. Then, the King briefed the Cabinet on the content of the message received from President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Minister of Media Turki bin Abdullah Al-Shabanah said in his statement to the Saudi Press Agency following the session that the Cabinet reviewed a number of reports on latest developments at Arab, regional and international arenas, commending the holding of the first round of Saudi-German political consultations which reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries, enhancing joint cooperation in combating extremism and terrorism, and regional and international issues. --More 16:18 LOCAL TIME 13:18 GMT 0011 www.spa.gov.sa/1882254
