Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional, and international arenas. Okaz newspaper said in its editorial that Qatar's scandals of financing suspicious groups have continued. The newspaper referred in this regard to the announcement of Tunisian government to start pursuing suspected Qatari money by opening an investigation to ascertain the sources of funding of Al-Nahda movement in Tunisia and its leaders and activists. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that corruption is the main reason to disrupt development and damage the interests of peoples in countries, noting that the Kingdom has taken unprecedented steps to combat corruption and accountability of the corrupted, and retrieved cash and assets amounted to SAR 400 billion. The newspaper added that the settlement process with the accused was conducted in complete transparency. Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has led the coalition to save Yemen from coupists against legitimacy and provide it with relief aid. The newspaper noted that assistance being provided by King Salman Humanitarian Aid And Relief Centre (KSRelief) to Yemen amounted to a unique figure in the world in terms of size and value. The paper added that Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen has sent five generators for the lighting of Socotra to ensure running of electricity around the clock, as well as oil derivatives and medical aid that continue to arrive in a number of Yemeni governorates and districts, despite the obstruction of Houthis.
