A car bomb exploded outside a police station in the northern city of Mosul on Sunday, killing four people and wounding 34 more, police said. The 8 a.m. blast also destroyed at least five cars at the Summar police station and damaged several nearby shops, police Lt. Leith Abdelqahar said. A three-meter-wide (three-yard-wide) crater could be seen at the site and shattered glass littered the road.
