Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs Khaled Al-Yamani stressed the importance of the Yemeni government's plan to redeploy in Hodeidah and Iranian-backed Houthi militia to commit to ceasefire agreement. This came during his meeting in New York, Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs Rosemary DiCarlo, where they discussed the implementation of the Stockholm Agreements on the governorates of Hodeidah and Taiz and the Prisoners and Detainees Agreement. The Yemeni minister said that the reasons for the failure of the implementation of the Hudaidah agreement and the ports of Hodeidah, is the intransigence of the Iranian-backed Houthi militias that refused to implement any of them.
