Draw specialists Valencia were denied victory by a brilliant late free-kick from Ruben Alcaraz at Mestalla on Saturday in La Liga. It was the 11th draw of the season for Marcelino's team and the Valencia coach all but conceded after the game that a top four finish is now beyond them. Elsewhere on Saturday, Leganes beat Huesca 1-0, Girona drew 1-1 with Alaves and Villarreal lost 2-1 to Getafe. Villarreal's defeat left them one off the bottom with victors Getafe in sixth place. Getafe took the lead through Jorge Molina and after Leandro Cabrera put through his own goal, Angel Rodriguez got the winner.
