The Extraordinary Ambassador and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Agus Maftuh Abegebriel, has visited the pavilion of Asir village in the National Festival of Heritage and Culture ''Janadriyah''. The Ambassador was briefed on the pavilion's contents in terms of the heritage of the people of Asir region. The Ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation on behalf of the Government and the people of Indonesia for the trust bestowed on the Republic of Indonesia by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince in selecting his country as a guest of honor for the festival and participating in the Forum of Civilizations and Cultures. He commended efforts being exerted by HRH Crown Prince in documenting the moderate Islamic religion open to traditions, civilizations and cultures among the peoples of the world, stressing that the Indonesian people love heritage and respect dialogue between civilizations and cultures.
