Prime Minister of Egypt Mostafa Madbouly has received here Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Speaker of the Shura Council. At the outset of the meeting which took place yesterday, the Prime Minister of Egypt welcomed the Speaker of the Shura Council and his accompanying delegation, lauding the sloid and historic relations binding the Kingdom and Egypt. Madbouly expressed aspiration to upgrade the level of economic relations in line with the strategic relations between the two countries, especially the promotion of Saudi investments in Egypt. The Egyptian Prime Minister briefed the Speaker of the Shura Council on the most important features of economic reforms in Egypt and the facilitations offered to investors, affirming that the Egyptian government is currently working on solving unsettled problems facing some Saudi investors in order to help them resume their investments in Egypt. Dr. Madbouly expressed hope that the major Egyptian companies operating in various sectors, particularly in the fields of contracting and construction, will be able to enter the Saudi market and contribute to the implementation of the Kingdom Vision 2030. For his part, the Speaker of the Shura Council hailed the distinguished relations of cooperation between the two countries and the supportive stance of Egypt to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of the mutual concern between the leaderships and officials of the two countries to take advantage of the capabilities of the two sides in order to achieve the interests of the two brotherly peoples. Dr. Al Al-Sheikh lauded Egypt's development, affirming that the comprehensive development vision adopted by President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi will put Egypt, within a few years, ahead of the development map in the world. He stressed the readiness of the Shura Council to push bilateral relations between Egypt and the Kingdom to the areas and prospects for wider horizons. During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common interest between the two countries and means of enhancing cooperation in various fields. The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
