Imam of Al-Azhar leaves the Kingdom

Imam of Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb left the Kingdom today following a several-day official visit to the Kingdom during which he met with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; and with the Kingdom's General Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Shiekh.
He discussed with the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh aspects of joint cooperation between the ministry and Al-Azhar. He also performed Umrah in Makkah and visited Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah during his visit.
At King Khalid international airport, he was seen off by the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, a number of senior officials of the ministry and a representative of the Royal Protocol.
