Japan's Kashima Antlers fought back to beat Mexico's CD Guadalajara 3-2 on Saturday and set up a Club World Cup semi-final with Real Madrid. Angel Zaldivar grabbed an early goal to put the CONCACAF club champions ahead, but the Asian champions equalized on 49 minutes through Ryota Nagaki. A Serginho penalty and Hiroki Abe's goal six minutes from time sealed the win for Kashima, who now meet European champions Real in the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday. Guadalajara scored a second late on through Alan Pulido after his penalty was saved but it was to no avail. The Japanese side are looking to better their 2016 showing when they finished second in the Club World Cup. Later on Saturday, African champions Esperance of Tunisia take on UAE hosts Al Ain for the chance to face newly crowned South American champions River Plate on Tuesday.
