Jordan welcomed yesterday the political negotiations on Yemen hosted by Sweden and the agreement on a ceasefire in the port of Hodeidah, the exchange of prisoners and the passage of humanitarian corridors in the besieged city. Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi stressed the importance of these agreements as an important step towards reaching a political solution to the Yemeni crisis and ending the suffering of Yemenis on the basis of resolution 2216, the outputs of the national dialogue and the GCC Initiative, appreciating the international and regional efforts that contributed to achieving these positive results.
