The opening session of Yemeni talks started here today, co-chaired by United Nations Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffith and Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Elisabeth Wallstrom in the presence of delegations from the legitimate Yemeni government and Houthi rebels. In his speech, the UN envoy Yemen Griffith thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Kuwait and the Sultanate of Oman for their efforts to hold this meeting.
