Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper commented in its editorial on the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to northern regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, saying that Waad Al-Shamal city development and other NEOM and Red Sea projects are witness to the balanced and sustainable development process in the Kingdom. The newspaper added that Waad Al-Shamal city development to be inaugurated today by the King will transfer the mining sector in the Kingdom to a new industrial boom and strength for the Saudi economy. Okaz newspaper said in its editorial that the campaign targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia following killing Saudi citizen Jamal Khashoggi early last October aims at thwarting the Kingdom's reform project, especially at the time the Kingdom's reaping the fruits of its vision 2030 aiming at diverse sources of its economy.
