On behalf of the Minister of Media and President of the Executive Council of The Union of News Agencies (UNA) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad, President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), President of the General Assembly, and Vice President of UNA's Executive Council Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein patronized today in Jeddah the first anniversary of turning the International Islamic News Agency (IINA) to The Union of News Agencies (UNA). SPA President delivered the Minister of Media's speech where he conveyed the Minister's greetings on this anniversary, adding that this IINA's turning to UNA represents a pivotal shift and exceptional leap in the history of this media institution and the joint media work of member states in light of the developments and consecutive changes and challenges facing our Islamic world.
