Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas as the following: Al-Youm newspaper in its editorials noted the statement issued by the Saudi Public Prosecutor on the case of the journalist Jamal Khashoggi which gives clear evidence that the Kingdom has closed the bulk of the case file. Al-Youm concluded by saying that the actions taken by the competent authorities in the Kingdom on this issue, which is the first of its kind focused on the facts and demanding the death penalty for a number of convicted in the case of the Khashoggi, a claim confirms the determination of the wise leadership to apply justice. Okaz newspaper commented on the same subject by saying: The Kingdom has resolved the controversy and demagoguery raised by the Qatari regime media and a number of media outlets that tried to employ the case of the killing of the Saudi citizen Jamal Khashoggi to achieve gains that serve their direction. Okaz concluded its editorial by saying: The ball is now in the court of the Turkish Public Prosecution, which must respond to the demands of the Saudi Public Prosecutor to provide Saudi Arabia with the evidence to complete the ongoing investigations to end this case.
