Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Engineer Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih met here today with the head of the Libyan delegation to OPEC Mustafa Sannallah, who is also Chairman of Libyan National Oil Corporation Engineer. At the outset of the meeting, Al-Falih pointed to the Kingdom's welcome of the return of stability to Libya, the return of its production to good and stable levels and the role played by Sannallah in this regard. During the meeting, they discussed the situations of the international oil market and the necessity of cooperation of OPEC and non-OPEC oil producing nations to restore the market stability with no increasing surplus in commercial stock for the next year 2019, as some oil sources and studies predict. The two sides affirmed the importance of Libya's participation in the decisions to rebalance the market through reducing production during the meetings of the producing countries next month. They also discussed ways to develop a technical cooperation in the fields of petroleum and manufacturing between the two countries.
