The MASAM project of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) has cleared 15,265 mines, planted by Iranian-backed Houthi militias in Yemeni governorates. During the month of October only, the project removed 8,718 mines planted by the Houthi militias in Yemen. They tried to hide them in different shapes, colors, and roads, killing many children, women and elderly people. The project is a continuation of the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Center, to alleviate the humanitarian crisis that Yemeni people are living through.
