GCC Chief Meets with US Secretary of Defense

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani met here today with US Defense Secretary James Mattis.
The US official is currently on a visit to Bahrain and the meeting took place, on the sidelines of the 14th Manama Dialogue Conference.
Conference meetings are discussing developments in the region as well as defense and security issues of common interest.
