The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned a car bomb attack near the town of Qayyarah in northern Iraq today, which resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries. The Secretary-General of the OIC, Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen, expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and the people and government of Iraq, wishing the injureda speedy recovery. Al-Othaimeen stressed the organization's standing with Iraq in fighting terrorism and extremism, supporting it to complete the process of reform and reconciliation and establishing security and stability.
