Jordan, Egypt Sign Energy Agreement

Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Hala Zawati and Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla, signed today a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to boost cooperation in training personnel and exchanging expertise in the field of gas production.
The two sides also discussed ways to benefit from the Egyptian expertise in supplying natural gas to industries and to follow up implementation of the previous agreements between the two countries, and affirmed resumption of pumping Egyptian gas to Jordan early 2019.
