Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Youm newspaper in its editorial on the disappearance of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi said that the Kingdom had nothing to hide about the existing issue and it was determined to take action to reach realities and avoid speculations of some political and media circles desperately trying to employ the event for political purposes and undermine the Kingdom. On another subject, Al-Riyadh newspaper in its editorial entitled '' Competitiveness and sustainable development'' said the World Economic Forum (WCR) on Global Competitiveness Report (GCR) for 2018 showed that the Kingdom has achieved the best progress in the competitiveness since 2012, which ranked 39th out of 140 countries, noting that international figures and indicators reflect the strength of the national economy and its level of performance as a solid foundation to enable Saudi youths to contribute more effectively to the private sector and join international companies investing in various sectors in the Kingdom.
