A delegation from the Gulf Police Force, headed by the head of the Center for Security Data and Information, Lt. Col. Salih bin Salim Al Habsi, and Captain Salem Al-Jabri participated in the 2nd General Assembly Meeting of the African Union Police Cooperation Mechanism, Afripol, held in the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria from 15 - 16 October 2018. The meeting aims to review the latest security developments in the field of combating international crime, in addition to enhancing security coordination among member states. The meeting was attended by Interpol Secretary-General Jurgen Stock, Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Ministers of Interior Dr. Mohammed Ali Koman, as well as a number of international organizations and heads of delegation from interior ministries of Aarb and African countries.
