The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of condolences to President John Pombe Magufuli of the United Republic of Tanzania on the victims of a ferry which capsized in the Lake of Victoria. In his cable, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques said that "we have been informed of the victims of a ferry which capsized in the Lake of Victoria and we extend, on behalf of the people and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in my own name, our deepest condolences and sincerest sympathies to you, the families of the victims and your people, wishing you good health."
