Death toll reaches 136 in Tanzania ferry disaster with scores missing

Tanzanian police official Simon Cerro said today that at least 136 bodies had been recovered and scores of people still missing when the ferry MV Nyerere capsized in Victoria lake.
He added that initial estimates suggested there were about 200 people on board the ferry at the time of the incident.
