KSRelief's General Supervisor: The Kingdom is Implementing Humanitarian Projects Worth $ 5 billion to Support Education Sector in Number of Needy Countries
the Advisor at the Royal Court, General Supervisor of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabee'ah has stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia pays special attention to the education sector as it plays a vital role in the sustainable development and development of societies and their living conditions. This came in a press statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). He said that the Kingdom has supported the educational process, and implemented the programs and projects in the affected countries, as the number of the benefited male and female students is 2,393,097 from 32 countries, with a total cost of 132 programs and humanitarian projects $ 5,212,929,000. Dr. Al-Rabiah said that KSRelief has been working with 27 partners, including 4 UN partners: UNICEF, UNESCO, UN-Habitat, and UN-WFP. He explained that the Republic of Yemen topped the benefited countries from the educational and human programs and projects, followed by Syria, Indonesia, Guinea, Egypt, China, Niger, Morocco, Cuba, Lebanon, Mauritania, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka, Mozambique, Vietnam, Uganda, Malawi, Tunisia, Chad, Côte d'Ivoire, Cape Verde, Benin, Pakistan, Cameroon, Palestine, Jordan, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Iraq, Zambia, and India. Dr. Al-Rabee'ah said that these efforts come within the framework of the humanitarian mission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represented by KSRelief Center to spread education in countries and peoples in need, according to with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince in support of friendly countries.
