, France, Germany, Italy and Spain issued a joint statement warning from the impact on the local community and the two-state solution if the village of Khan al-Ahmar is razed. In the statement issued today, the five states reiterated their call for Israeli authorities to call off the demolition of a Bedouin village in the West Bank. "The consequences of demolition and displacement on the residents of this community, including their children, as well as on the prospects of the two-state solution would be very serious," the statement concluded.
