Osama bin Ahmed Nugali, Saudi Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Arab League, said that the Saudi chairmanship of the Arab League's previous session witnessed several political and strategic challenges, where the Kingdom was keen to consolidate the Arab joint action and the convergence of views among the Arab countries regarding most regional and international issues. This came during the 150th meeting of the Arab League Council at the level of permanent delegates held in Cairo today, where a number of issues including the latest developments of the Palestinian cause in addition to the situations in Syria, Libya and Yemen were discussed. The Ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to all those who cooperated with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during its chairmanship of the 149th session of the Arab League Council. He also congratulated the Republic of Sudan on its chairmanship of the 150th session of the Ministerial Council.
