Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, Advisor-Royal Court and Supervisor General of Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief), said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the world's seventh largest supplier of humanitarian aid and relief, citing that his country's foreign aid amounted to 84.7 billion US dollars between 1996 and 2018. This came during a symposium held here today at the headquarters of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) on the Saudi Aid Platform which was inaugurated by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud six months ago to be a high-technological and national incubator to record and document all the contributions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to all countries, peoples and organizations around the world. He pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosted 561,911 Yemeni visitors (refugees), 262,573 Syrian visitors (refugees) and more than 249,000 Rohingyas, adding that the KSRelief humanitarian and relief projects are 457 projects worth $1,901,536,026 in 40 countries with 124 local, international and UN partners in all countries around the world. --More 19:25 LOCAL TIME 16:25 GMT 0024 www.spa.gov.sa/1809418
