Saudi equestrian team won the gold medal for hurdles' jumping today, during the 18th Asian Games, in a competition that have seen participation of 68 knights representing 17 countries. The Saudi team included Ramzi Al-Dahami, Khalid Al-Eid, Khaled Al-Mubti and Abdullah Al-Sharbatli, who managed to maintain their lead since the opening round of the race on Monday and with the least mistakes compared to other participating teams, until the last round on today. Prince Fahd bin Jalawi, Head of the Saudi delegation to the games, has been present since the beginning of the race, in addition to the president of the Saudi Karate Federation Dr. Ibrahim Al-Qannas and the President of the Saudi Federation of Handball Mohammed Al-Manea, who witnessed also the coronation of the Saudi champions. For his part, President of the General Authority for Sport Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al Al-Sheikh congratulated the equestrian team, on the occasion of achieving the gold medal, instructing to provide the champions with half a million Saudi Riyals (SR500,000), in appreciation of such a great achievement.
