Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, has congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha and success of Hajj season 1439H (2018). In his cable to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Abdulaziz conveyed congratulations, in his own name and on behalf of the members of the Supreme Hajj Committee, the governors of regions, the personnel of Interior Ministry and all relevant sectors in this Hajj season 1439H, to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha and success of Hajj season 1439H (2018). Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud affirmed that these successes are attributed to the great potentials provided by the Saudi government for all Hajj-related bodies and to the projects implemented in the holy sites to serve the pilgrims and facilitate the performance of Hajj rituals in accordance with integrated security, preventive, service and traffic plans, adding that the number of pilgrims in this year is (2,371,675) with no incidence of any epidemic diseases or quarantine cases recorded.
