As many as 50 scholarships was allocated to students from Pakistan to study, in Saudi universities, was announced here today by Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nauwaf Al-Maliki. This was unfolded, as the Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani received here today the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Al-Maliki, in the presence of the Cultural Attaché, at the Kingdom's embassy Dr. Ali Hausawi. Al-Maliki said during the meeting that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will bear all expenses related to the study and housing for Pakistani students to be awarded scholarships, noting that scholarships for Pakistani students, will double next year. He stressed that the Kingdom attaches great importance to its relations with Pakistan and its brotherly people and will spare no effort to stand with them, assist them and support them. For his part, the President of the Senate of Pakistan thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the allocation of scholarships for students, in Pakistan, adding that Pakistan highly cherishes its relations with Saudi Arabia and regards them as historical relations based on shared religious and cultural values, as well as consensus on most regional and international issues, which contribute to regional and international security and peace and serves the interests of the Islamic Ummah. He praised the leadership role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince, in the support of regional and international security and peace, standing with Islamic countries and serving Islam and Muslims, all over the world. The chairman of the senate also praised distinguished efforts exerted by the Saudi ambassador, which contributed to enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries and upgrading them to better levels and wider horizons, that meet aspirations of the two friendly countries and serve the interests of their fraternal peoples.
