The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen expressed his sincere condolences to the government and people of Indonesia on the loss of humans and destruction of properties caused by the earthquake in Nusa Tenggara Barat province in Indonesia, expressing his hope that the strong and courageous people of Indonesia would overcome such difficult circumstances quickly. In a cable to the government of Indonesia, the Secretary-General extended wished the wounded a speedy recovery, appealing to all OIC Member States to extend all possible assistance to the government of Indonesia at this difficult time.
