Dr. Adel bin Siraj Mirdad, undersecretary of the ministry of foreign affairs for political and economic affairs, and Azzam bin Abdulkarim Al-Gain, undersecretary for protocol affairs, each held a number of meetings at the headquarters of the ministry in Riyadh today. Mirdad received the UN special coordinator for Lebanon and the region's affairs Pernille Kardel. On the other hand, Al-Gain received the ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom Shahin Abdullayev and U.S. Deputy Chief of Mission in the Kingdom Martina Strong and Charge d'Affaires of the embassy of Gabon Abeza Gerzy. During the meetings, bilateral relations between the Kingdom and each party as well as issues of mutual concern were discussed.
