Eric Trager, Professional Staff Member of US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, made a get acquainted visit to Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) during which he met with Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, Assistant Supervisor General for Operations and Programs, and other senior officials. During the tour, the guest was briefed on the activities of the center, including the relief and humanitarian acts for the inflicted in 42 countries without exception, citing that the projects have so far amounted to 450 different projects, out of them 274 enjoyed by Yemen ranging in the food security, health, early treatment, water, environmental treatment, relief, non-relief materials, support and coordination of humanitarian operation, protection, logistic services, education, nutrition, communication in cases of emergency in addition to qualitative projects including children rehabilitation who were once enlisted by the Houthi militias and artificial limbs center as well as Masam program for demining. A number of issues regarding relief and humanitarian affairs were also discussed.
