Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received at his office in Riyadh today the representative of the UNICEF to the Gulf countries Tayyip Adam who presented his credentials. During the meeting, they discussed fields of cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and UNICEF. For his part, the representative of UNICEF expressed thanks of his organization to the Kingdom for its donation worth $151 million to UNICEF and its humanitarian and developmental role to alleviate the sufferings of the needy all over the world. He also praised Saudi Arabia for providing one billion U.S. dollar in support of humanitarian works in Yemen this year. The meeting was attended by Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Rassi, undersecretary of the ministry for multilateral international affairs, and Azzam bin Abdulkarim Al-Gain, undersecretary of the ministry for protocol affairs.
