Colonel Turki Al Malki, The official Spokesman of the Coalition "Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen", stated that the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition during the past days has conducted an assessment of all hostile, terrorist acts carried out by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, which target freedom of Maritime Navigation in Southern areas of the Red Sea and Bab-el-Mandeb strait, the last of which was targeting one of the Saudi oil tankers. Colonel Al Malki stressed that the continuation of this terrorist approach by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia will cause environmental and economic catastrophes, that will affect States of the region and the world. He added that The Joint Forces Command of the Coalition, in coordination with the International Community, has undertaken all necessary procedures to ensure the flow of Maritime Navigation and International Trade through Bab-el-Mandeb Strait, and Southern areas of the Red Sea in conformity with the International Law and relevant United Nations Security Council Resolutions, primarily UNSCR 2216. He concluded: "The Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen will continue its efforts, in coordination with the International Community to sustain regional and international security, and participate in Global Economy stability."
