The open-ended committee in charge of discussing Arab League developing mechanisms held a meeting at the level of permanent representatives here today, chaired by the Saudi ambassador to Egypt Osama bin Ahmed Nugali, who also serves as his country's permanent representative to the Arab League. Fadel Jawad, Assistant Secretary General for Legal Affairs at the AL, said in a statement following the meeting, that the committee reviewed four reports presented by sub-committees assigned earlier to each survey and study a separate issue of development. The meetings of the committee will continue at the permanent representatives level prior to submitting their final report to the Arab foreign ministers meeting scheduled for Cairo in September 2018, he said.
