Bahrain's Cabinet has condemned the attempts of the terrorist Houthi militias to target two Saudi oil tankers crossing the Bab Al-Mandab Strait in the Red Sea. During its session presided over by Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Cabinet described the cowardly attack as a terrorist escalation that poses a serious threat to the freedom of international trade and maritime navigation in Bab Al-Mandab Strait and the Red Sea. The Cabinet affirmed Bahrain's full-fledged support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and backing of the measures it deems necessary to protect its resources, security and stability.
